Floating Potty In Toilet Commode Can Be Warning Symptoms Of These 4 Dangerous Diseases

Do you know that even your potty can reveal many health related things? Yes you are listening right. A healthy potty goes away after flushing once or twice, while an unhealthy potty feels the need to flush several times. Although it still seems to be floating in the commode. It happens to many people that they flush again and again. Still the floater persists.

The floatiness of the potty is related to what it is made of. According to MIT Medical, the potty filled with gas and fiber is light, so it is often seen floating. However, the amount of fat in the swimming potty is also high, which is an indication that your body is not able to absorb the nutrients properly. Let us know why floating potty is a matter of concern for health?

What does floating potty indicate?

1. Stomach infection

According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, some intestinal worms can release gas in the intestine, which gets trapped in the potty. This is the reason why it remains stuck in the commode even after flushing it. Other serious problems such as the parasitic infection giardiasis can prevent your body from absorbing fat properly. Because of this, the stool becomes greasy and starts floating.

2. Gastrointestinal Disorders

The authors of a 2015 study found that 26 percent of people with bowel disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome and indigestion reported experiencing this problem. For some people, a floating potty can be a sign of a bowel problem.

3. Malabsorption

According to Insider, Dr. Daniel Friedberg, a gastroenterologist and professor at Columbia University, explains that problems that cause malabsorption can lead to potty floating. For example, people who are lactose intolerant may experience fatty stools (fatty potties) when they consume milk, cheese or other dairy products. This happens because the body is not able to break down lactose properly.

4. Pancreatic cancer

The pancreas is a small sac-like gland in the middle of your abdomen. The pancreas works to convert the food we eat into fuel for the cells of the body. According to the American Cancer Society, floating stools can be an early symptom of pancreatic cancer. If a tumor blocks the pancreas, it may fail to digest food properly, leading to malabsorption. If this happens then due to the high amount of fat the potty may float in the commode despite flushing it several times.
